This page covers both the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy for Lanza ("Lanza", "we", "us"). By using Lanza you agree to both. Questions? Email dsottimano@gmail.com.
Terms of Service
1. What Lanza is
Lanza is a content management tool that helps you build and publish a website you fully own. Your site's files live in your own GitHub repository, and your site is hosted on your own Cloudflare account (Cloudflare Pages). Lanza does not host your site or store a separate copy of your content — it edits the files in your accounts on your behalf.
2. Your accounts
To use Lanza you connect your GitHub and Cloudflare accounts using their official sign-in (OAuth). When you connect them you grant Lanza permission to act on your behalf — to read and write the repository that holds your site, and to create and deploy your website on Cloudflare Pages. You are responsible for your accounts, for keeping them secure, and for complying with GitHub's terms and Cloudflare's terms. You can revoke Lanza's access at any time from your GitHub and Cloudflare account settings.
3. Your content is yours
You own everything you create with Lanza. We claim no ownership of your content, your site, or your audience. Because your content is a plain folder of files in your own repository, you can take it and leave at any time — nothing is locked in.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Lanza to publish anything unlawful, or to abuse, attack, or overload GitHub, Cloudflare, or any other service. Don't use it to attempt unauthorized access to accounts that aren't yours.
5. Service provided "as is"
Lanza is provided free and "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will always be available. Your site's availability also depends on GitHub and Cloudflare, which are outside our control.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lanza and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Because your content lives in your own version-controlled repository, you always hold your own copy.
7. Changes and termination
We may update or discontinue Lanza, or change these terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. You may stop using Lanza and revoke its access at any time.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Privacy Policy
1. The short version
Lanza is built so that your data stays in your accounts. We don't run analytics, we don't sell data, and we don't keep a copy of your website content. We use the access you grant only to do what you asked: edit your repository and deploy your site.
2. What we access, and why
When you connect your accounts, Lanza requests only the permissions it needs:
- GitHub — permission to read and write the repository that holds your site, so it can save your edits as commits.
- Cloudflare — permission to read your account and to create, read, and deploy Cloudflare Pages projects, so your site can be built and published. Lanza does not request access to your billing, DNS, or other Cloudflare services.
3. What we store
To act on your behalf during a session, Lanza holds the access tokens from GitHub and Cloudflare. These are kept in secure, server-side, HttpOnly cookies — they are not exposed to your browser's scripts and are not shared with anyone. We do not store a separate copy of your website's content; your content lives only in your own GitHub repository and on your own Cloudflare account.
4. Third parties
Lanza relies on GitHub and Cloudflare to store and host your site. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies: GitHub and Cloudflare. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
5. Cookies
Lanza uses only the strictly-necessary cookies described above to keep you signed in and to hold the access tokens needed to edit and deploy your site. It does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
6. Retention and revoking access
Access tokens are retained only as long as needed to operate the service and are cleared when your session ends. You can revoke Lanza's access to your GitHub and Cloudflare accounts at any time from those services' settings, which immediately stops Lanza from being able to act on your behalf.
7. Children
Lanza is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
